WALL + ORIGAMI = WALLIGAMI
Home & Office vertical gardens
Now we can really call walligami SMART!
Awards
With Walligami there is …
no endless root circling
… like in hard sided pots & containers.
In Walligami roots penetrate or grow
into the felt fabric, in effect pruning it
and causing the root to develop huge
number of tiny hairy lateral fibrous
roots.
no overwatering problems
… like in design ceramic or metal pots &
containers. The root hairs receive their
available oxygen from tiny air pockets
that exist in the surrounding soil. It’s
only when the water doesn’t drain away
(for days) that problems occur within the
root environment. Excess of water in
Walligami drain away slowly by evaporating
through felt fabric allowing new
air pockets to form.
no “space issues”
… whether you have small or bigger
apartment . For sure it is already
crowded with “things”. But for planted
Walligami you can always find free place
on the wall! Particularly for healthy
plant that has multiple effect on our
lives like reducing airborne bacteria and
remove toxic chemicals from air, produce
oxygen, reduce stress, increase
optimism and make us feel calmer.

HOW TO’S…
quick and simple to learn
how to fold
It’s easy and fun. Watch the video or follow step by step folding instructions that come inside every Walligami package. We call it “the greenprint”.
how to plant
After you fold and shape your Walligami, it is ready for getting a plant pal or few of them. It is important to match available amount of sunlight on the chosen wall and suitable plants. Planting the Walligami is basicly the same as potting. But don’t forget to prepare first some “planting tools” like spoon, and plastic shopping bag or similar (to protect light fabric from soil and dirty hands). This will help you to plant nice, clean and quick. Watch the video :
how to water
Water your Walligami carefully and slowly so that water can penetrate down to the bottom of the soil pocket. It is much easier if you point outlet of the watering container or cup toward back side of the pocket while holding bottom of the Walligamy a bit away from the wall. Wait a second , so that soil can soak water. You can water Walligami either when hanged on a wall or while holding it in your hand. It is very easy and you will get the feeling how to water right away. Try to feel by weighing it with hand whether watering is needed, since dry Walligami is much lighter.
In bottom left corner of the planter there is a watering indicator. It shows when soil is dry. After watering the plant, indicator disappears. If needed, felt material will soak excess water and through capillarity effect lift the water to the outer upper surfaces where it evaporates to the environment. Smart!
how to hang
After deciding where to hang your Walligami, just do the following: 1. check for electric installations in the wall where you want to hang before drilling. 2. drill the hole in the wall on desired spot; 3. slide in suitable wall anchor* (for drywall or brickwall); 4. screw the hook* into anchor 5. hang the Walligami 6. voilà! For small and midium walligami you can use simple nail to hang it. Just like you hang your pictures.
*wall anchor & hook are in the Walligami package
